Even with its limitations and few odd quirks, the LG 27GL850 is an excellent and impressive monitor. It offers the hands-down best IPS screen I’ve seen to date. LG has a definite winner on its hands.
The LG UltraGear 27GN750 is an excellent gaming monitor if you want an ultra-fast panel. Its IPS panel can not only produce rich color and great viewing angles, but with 1ms, also offers best-in-class response time.

The new LG UltraGear is a tricky panel to characterise. As it is, this is a very fine, but slightly flawed, gaming monitor that leaves us wanting just a little bit more for what is a significant amount of money.
